I'm Pamela A. Vogel, MS, PhD, an artist and scientist who has found a profound connection between creativity and discovery. My journey with art began in childhood, inspired by my aunt's art, whose breathtaking landscapes filled me with wonder and sparked my imagination. Though life led me down the path of science, with years dedicated to finding ways to grow more sustainable and nutritious foods, my heart always yearned for artistic expression. In 2020, amidst the turbulence of the world, I picked up a brush again, and what began as an escape soon became an undeniable passion.
I specialize in abstract art that explores the interplay of color, texture, and technique, blending mixed media such as acrylics, alcohol inks, and other materials to add texture. Each piece is a reflection of my fascination with nature's unpredictable beauty, my scientific curiosity, and my deep appreciation for the spontaneity and organic expression.
